Release of Innovative, Pull-Down Screen Door Solution Slated to Revolutionize Screen Door Industry Secret Screen™, a Ground-Breaking Screen Door, Offers Advantages Traditional Screens Cannot Compete With

NEWPORT BEACH, CA August 14, 2004 -- Secret Screen, an innovative new approach to screen doors, today announced the debut of its new screen door solution, Secret Screen™ pull-down screen doors. The pioneering screen door is said to be far more convenient than traditional screen doors and is sold at a fraction of the cost.

Secret Screen pull-down screen doors differ from conventional screen doors with its unique, patent pending pull-down engineering. While traditional screen doors open outwards and can be a regular inconvenience and even a nuisance to regularly entering one’s home, Secret Screen takes a far more pragmatic and affordable approach.

Secret Screen’s space saving construction and assembly enable it to hide at the top of doorframes concealed by a valance that nicely matches the color of one’s home. When the screen is needed, it simply pulls down and attaches to two small hooks at the bottom of the doorframe. Secret Screen quickly rolls back up to the top of the doorframe by releasing its bottom fastener using one’s foot.

Brett Vandale, president of Secret Screen, comments, “The idea for Secret Screen pull- down screen doors came to me after becoming increasingly irritated with traditional screen doors that were always in the way. I wanted an alternative, but other retractable screen doors were an inconvenience and exorbitantly priced. My solution was a well-constructed, resilient, affordable screen door that conveniently pulled down from the top of my door frame and quickly retracted upon exiting.”

Vandale adds, “I built a prototype and it worked so well that my friends soon began asking me to make them pull-down screen doors, too. It quickly became abundantly clear that there was a commercial need, demand, and market for a product of this nature. I quit my day job and the rest is history.”

Product Features:
* Convenient, out-of-the-way design
* A mere fraction of the cost of traditional screen doors - $34.95
* Durable, weatherproof construction
* Incredibly easy to install
